Note to maxpowr... this is anton's thread. After figuring out what to do w/ the auxillary stuff, I'm starting to see why everyone has ranted and raved about the vi-pec.

Fun stuff!

That's pretty crazy to think that you're on your third standalone for this car. When I first started looking at standalones the only thing I new at first was I didn't want a Hydra in my car. I think I made a pretty good choice in the end

Man you had a lot of em solutions. I hope Vipec will meet your engine's needs.

My em was ecutek then MoTec M800 PnP. I wish i went straight to MoTec.

people (also phil) tried to bite my head off in Dexterous' thread because I was saying how many people (and wealthy ones) have lost huge to Phil and the hydra...if you aren't a tuner, or phil, the hydra sucks! I had muliple buddies stuck with that pos box and the "updates". What a rip off...

I agree 1000%

The hardware may be great but the interface, ease of use, and payed upgrades suck.

Like MoTec, hydra is not for those who are weak with the force. Phil is a Jedi master. BTW, the 2.7 is pretty awesome.

You have an onboard data logger, use it. We want to see real spool on the street not spool on the dyno.
