Default will my 09 clutch setup fit an 05 sti tranny?

Hey guys, been doing a lot of research on a 6spd tranny swap in my 09 wrx. I got everything I need for the swap. (tranny, axels, linkage, driveshaft, DCCD i can keep my rear diff R180) but I am trying to figure out if my ACT clutch with less than 10000 miles and stock flywheel from my 5spd will fit on the 6spd... I know this question is asked frequently on the forum but from the research ive been doing i have not found a solid yes or no answer. Is an 09 clutch a push or pull set up? The 6spd is out of a 05 sti it has 25000 miles on it

5spd is for sale after the swap is completed stock tranny has 51068 miles

Why in God's name would you ever put a used clutch in a car?

Whether it fits or not is academic....................but seriously, if the transmission is coming out, it's getting a new clutch.

Because it's really easy to pull the trans out of a subaru, and if the clutch doesn't have much wear it is a waste of money to replace it.

OP, I'm using a exedy clutch for a 02 wrx with my 04 sti trans, but I haven't messed with an 09 wrx, so I can't confirm 100%. I bought the new clutch and already had an act streetlight flywheel, then found a deal on a wrecked sti so I ended up swapping it and knew that the clutch I had would be more than sufficient for the power levels I was going for. I rallycross it at least once a month with 320 whp and haven't had a single clutch issue.

An easy way to figure this out yourself is to look online and find a clutch for an '09 WRX on a retailers site, and see if it says it's compatible. Most sites will have a "compatible with" section.
According to Exedy, they have different part numbers, so my initial response would be no. But call them up or look at the site more than 10 seconds and maybe it'll say why they don't fit.
