No idea. I just saw them on a mod list when I was looking at the car show sheets.

Hey guys, so i am thinking about getting raceland coilovers for my wrx and i had a couple questions.
1.) how low can these really go? with or without removing helper springs. 2.) will camber bolts fit on these? and is there any universal camber plates that will fit for the rear? if so how much? |

Full Disclosure: I have coilovers on my DD, but they aren't low and stiff. They are actually reasonably comfy, but even then it gets a bit much sometimes. |

was playing with my camera today and took a few pics.... this is all the way up (without moving the whole strut assembly up)... So if you buy them and put them straight on your car and adjust the lower perch and spring up until it makes contact with the upper perch, this is the height you will be at.

I'm having some problems with mine. I just got mine on a few days ago. I set them up they worked awesome for a day, Then I realized that the rears were a little bit too low. So I adjusted them up about an inch. Now they make the most horrible SLAMMING noise when I hit certain sharp bumps. Everything is tight. It is almost like the strut is either getting stuck, or rebounding extremely hard

sounds exactly like what he did. it does it over sudden dips in the road i bet. done that to my fronts trying to get lower, but it didn't work out and i ended up smashing the valve against the seals over medium to heavy dips on the road. took out the preload and put it back and now im better.
either way these things suck balls and im ready to move onto another set that is built a little (read: a lot) better. stance, here i come. |

All I did was it was too low in the rear for me, So I just turned the lower spring perch up to lift it. Is that not the correct way to do so? Because as soon as I did that, It started making the slamming noise....?

no, if you moved the shock body up with the use of the lower perch then you did it correctly. if you moved the upper spring perches up and put more load on the spring then you would have done it wrong.
are all the locking rings right how they should be? is the main strut shaft nut tight? something is probably loose right now. i know the bearings used in these mounts suck, but they shouldn't be making really loud slamming noises. |

So I have a new issue.... When I turn hard right, I get an insane vibration like my right front wheel is loose. I don't feel it in the steering wheel. And it's only on right turns, not left. I changed a bad wheel bearing on that side and I thought that it would fix it, but it didn't.... Any ideas?
