Default Sway Bar Snapped

has anyone had a cobb sway bar snap in half on them?
I dont even drive my car hard, it took it to the track once like 3 years ago almost and i was replacing my front pads today and notice it was broken half so i spent like 4 hours trying to get the stock one back one.

has this happened to anyone else? or just bad luck for me

It seems to be a common problem in the states with snow and salt.

that would make sense, the outside still had all of the blue paint but the inside was pretty rusted.

They can break quicker if they are not properly lubed also.

Les's snapped due to too much lube and friction it wore from the outer diameter.
