Default Looking for a stock Forester xt or sti catalytic converter

After going to auto zone and Merchents I have found that the rear catalytic converter is cracked and posibly i may need a new 02 sensor With parts and labor they say this will be expensive and i just lost my job.
Merchents told me I have to use SUbaru parts nothing after market or its gonna throw this code again. I have been told forester XT and STI used the same type of cats does anyone have one or don mods to there car and still have there other one.

Aha!

In your other thread I said I had my stock downpipe... $75. I've also got a rear O2 sensor I can toss in for you for another $25 or maybe even less depending on how it looks.

PM me that phone number and we can discuss an installed price as well!

Why would he need your downpipe when he said he needs a rear cat?

I haven't looked at my STi downpipe in a while, but I know the rear cat is attached to it... Not sure if that's all one piece or if there's a flange. I think there might be, but most people sell the two together.

There is a flange.

But! Why would I seperate them?

Yes, he needs just the rear, but this way he can re-use his turbo gasket (easily done) and reuse his donut gasket (easily done) instead of finding the middle DP gasket, bolts, nuts, etc... and me trying to find someone to buy the most restrictive cat in the whole system

So yeah, didn't get a PM today... Sending one your way, OP!
