Yes, geunuine STi RA ver 3 tranny that I had imported a few years back. I used it for less than 100 miles (40k kilometers on it total) before a 6-spd setup fell into my lap. I did tear it down and inspect it prior to using it myself. It is a healthy tranny!
I imported it for roughly $3500 dollars and am willing to hook it up for such a rare and unique transmission. 5-spd STi setups are becoming VERY hard to find. I am willing to parts gears and the DCCD rear end if two parties are putting down money for both parts. I'll post tranny code and ratios later. I also have a blown (pinion gear) 4.44 lsd R160 rear end that I can toss in for a little more, since the 4.44 housing is taller. Also spares the junkyard diving/junt for a 4.44 4eat rear end, that is still open. TY752VB5CA 1st:3.083 2nd:2.062 3rd:1.545 4th:1.151 5th:0.825 FD:4.444 Asking $2800 OBO. (will toss in an old school mechanical LSD 4.44 rear end if bought out right) The tranny is completely assembled. Pictures are from a tear down to show that all is well. Willing to split and sell the RA gearset with case and steel shift fork, all assembled for $1700. Already have a buyer for the center diff section. -Micah ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

yeah but 6-spd's also aren't rare and desirable for given applications.Dude, I also bought this when a 6-spd trans alone was north of $4k. I'd dare you to find another STi RA trans, phase 1 with a steel shift fork....and of course the coveted 5-spd DCCD. You can also compare prices on an RA gearset, then a case and then having them assembled. Get that price and then also consider you are without DCCD. Run the value how you want. |
