bump??? I've searched around and from what I can tell it appears as if the rear struts are different but can anyone give me a definitive yes/no answer?

Thanks, Joe

Default No.

The sedan has a wider track. The struts have a slightly different hole placement on the bottom of the strut. You could technically bolt up a sedan strut on a wagon but the camber would be off by as much as 2 degrees. You could also remedy this by use of camber plates at the top of the struts, and camber bolts in the rear. But in the end, that doesn't change that sedan struts are "different" than wagon struts.

just to add, i had a similar question a while back, and someone was nice enough to post the actual differing part numbers in order to help illustrate that the struts were different. Here are the part numbers if you are curious or need them in any way:

20310fe040 wagon front rh
20310fe050 wagon front lh
20310fe140 sedan front rh
20310fe150 sedan front lh
20360fe040 wagon rear rh
20360fe050 wagon rear lh
20360fe140 sedan rear rh
20360fe150 sedan rear lh

Thanks, FWIW a set of new struts would cost about $365 from Subaruparts.com.

Cheers, Joe
