I am a skater too! just bought myself a new pair of skates a week ago and started to skate again after 10 years. It's nice to see some other skaters that are now into cars.

video above is nice!

liberalswine, you bastard haha. I knew somebody would do it though.

fmp and others, in terms of questions about how to make your suby RWD, remember, i still haven't done the conversion, i'm a nube when it comes to builds so do some searches on the forums, there are tons of people that have contributed on the forums about drifting subes. Stephen,Russell and others on here have made rwd subarus that are already out there getting sideways so consult their builds.

Once i've done my conversion i will prolly post everything i did. I might me fabbing the RWD spool too, so if that succeeds I will post up a how to.

Nice build man! That's funny to hear DL's name mentioned. I used to be a big fan of him back in the day and have seen him around the valley a handful of times.

what up, yeah no real progress on the car...wacked a curb with the fr tire following DL in some monsoon street drifting about a month ago...not fun. Had to replace the control arm and tie rod so wasn't bad. worse was that my chargespeed front lip got demolished...i loved that bumper. My front rim also now has more rash than Courtney Love's cooter. But it is straight and holds air

But if anybody runs into this, you should know that the inner threads of the tie rod are different between 02-03 steering racks and 04-05 wrx racks. Not sure about sti's and 06-07, but yeah 04 is def different than 03. it sucked.

Apart from that nothing really. NRG steering wheel. I have to put the motor and rwd conversion on hold right now until i get more funds. Plus i'm working a ton and my new CPA accounting firm has me flying all over the place all the time. So looks like this build is going to be even slower than anticipated...i just want to get sideways...i should have bought a 240sx...

The pe1820 currently sucks for my stock ej205. Spools at prolly 4000-4500. For a 2.5 i feel it would make a great auto-x turbo, but overall I just feel it is old technology. a GT28 or even 30r would prolly spool faster on a 2.0. Once i get my ej22t built, with fully built ver7 spec-c heads , i imagine i could get the 1820 to spool before 3500, but screw that. I'm going 3071r for sure. Lets just say I have a connection to a lot of insider information, and that most current Garrett turbo's, and even a old journal bearing nismo gt28 still spools faster, and had a way stronger and better looking curve, than BW or any other turbo manufacturer. **** whatever anybody else says, Garrett still kills ****.

the rwd conversion has started, i have a dd now so the car is getting torn f-ing apart. I can't wait for her to be done.

Here's two more pre-conversion pics too since i got flamed when i first started this thread for not posting pics.

also check out Elevens Paint & Fiber blog as there are a couple posts about stuff i'm doing with making "Snookie", the dirty, rubber burning driftaru look pretty. She does still need some more magnum sized rubbers though...8" does not satisfy her at all...she needs some 10" black boys to fill her.

I have an old school Chip Torque Australia RWD spool. They are now discontinued. PPG makes a spool too, so does rocket rally but i believe it is the same as the Watanbe service one but overpriced.

Yeah they looked good for fruit booters. xD Thats what all the skaters called rollerbladers in 7th grade. But naw for real the blading was good, it was so smooth and it all flowed.
