What mods do u have is first question. I had the same question and after talking to multiple tuners if u r planning on just doing simple bolt on like dp exhaust and use a Cobb then everyone I talked too says to just let the ecu and the preprogrammed tune do the work. If u get a protune they say the same thing cuz they will preset the max boost lvls and if u do 2 different pro maps one for street on pump gas and one on race gas ur ecu should be able to keep up. They told me a simple boost gauge would work and if u want a A/f and EGT gauge would work if u know what ur looking at. Hope this helps

Forgot ur question sorry.. When I was looking I heard lots of good things about the AEM true boost. It's both a gauge and boost controller in one.

Nice setup!!! Looked at the link. The controller looks sick!! Just one last thing. Have u talked to ur tuner to see what they would use? If not or u want lots of different input contact a bunch of tuners to get an idea on what would work best. But if that controller does what it says and is really user friendly then for the money I don't think it a bad unit plus the company has a hood track record of making great parts.. Good luck

AVCR has just about everything you could want. RPM based boost, gear based boost, ramping, scramble setting, all kinds of fun toys. Comes with a quality MAC valve, and sensor. Kind of a pain to set up but who cares!
