Not sure about the chassis stress. I know the 2011's are becoming known for having bumpers that you can't even BREATHE on without having them crack. If what you say is true then I may eventually get a 2012 bumper because my stock one gets no love from me.

Today I got an alignment, but my car still pulls too hard to the right... I've gotten plenty of Subie alignments before, so I know that this isn't right. I'll be going back when I have time. Kinda lame waste of $100.

We should get them side by side so I can get some measurements rather than my calibrated eyeball.

Someone beat me to it, but what do you guys think?

STI tS spoiler paint-matched. My EXACT setup that I'm desiring. Looks better than the M3-style I'm currently rockin', right?

Maybe, but it seems hard to justify. I'm assuming it's very expensive.

On sale right now: tS spoiler

Shipping was fairly reasonable from what I got quoted.

I plan on getting it after I pay for this trip in May, so hopefully by the beginning of March. I still have to get it painted.

I'm wondering if it would be cheaper for me to hand over every piece that I need painted all at once since they'll have to keep the same color for all the pieces or if it really doesn't matter?

Look how he has it set up so cleanly!

Why would you want a rear switch? Wouldnt you just want it wired so it'll come on when you go to reverse?

It's red for visibility to others, not illumination.

That gauge placement looks really clean too, but I actually need that defroster sometimes. I just wish our TC off button was next to the gear shift, I hate having to fumble behind the steering wheel when I want it off in a hurry.
Also, what's that other dial next to the dimmer switch, does that aim HIDs?

Yes, adjustable HIDs for STI and WRX Limited.

I wouldn't put a gauge over there. SMY cluster for me!

I always turn off my VDC, although with everything that's been going on this week with all the injured Subies I might need to rethink that...

I honestly only want the rear fog light for visibility purposes. I like to take long cruises to Seward, Homer and Fairbanks and plan on going to Valdez this year, so having an extra light that can more easily be seen through the fog seems like a worthwhile investment. Plus it flashes up the rear a bit.

That switch near the mirror adjuster switch is the Vehicle Dynamics Control On/Off button. I'm learning to ignore the icon along with my tire pressure and low gas icons.

If you check out the "WGMG" thread you'll see all the injuries adding up of people hitting Subies in Anchorage.

Thanks guys! I'm glad I saw Asubie's pics of his WRX, otherwise I would've just tinted the whole thing, not knowing any better or having an imagination for myself. It solved my dilemma of not really wanting to tint the entire tail light.

I'm a firm believer in the connection of colors and moods, so I'm glad to have the red tail lights toned down.

I bought the first 2011 Sti in Alaska as well. It's always a sweet feeling. Haha
