The car looks great!

I agree on the VDC control. I usually turn mine off as well. Not a good feeling pulling out into traffic on slick street and having the VDC cut power/apply differential braking because the car slides a little. In that situation it definitely can make matters worse.

I don't think you're understanding the full potential that this could have, Nomad... I can program my wheels to project an image to make it look like my wheels are not even moving! Can you imagine? STI wheels standing still WHILE driving?!

And since it's programmable while I drive, I can make them look like ANY set of wheels that I want! You didn't know about them 20" Ultraleggerra's, did you, huh?! Suckafoo!

Bout to get Cobb SF intake and air box, then get it tuned for that.

Then I gotta replaced the spacer/adapter for front driver wheel ($65, not much).

I'm probably gonna see if Vern can order me the 2012 sedan paint-matched trunk trim. I saw another member order it and it's nice and not too expensive.

Gotta save up to paint the front bumper from the 08-10 STI. I know it's only $300 for the bumper itself, and then I need fog light housings and side covers. I JUST realized while typing that the fog lights MIGHT be different sizes for pre-2011... I guess we'll find out!

Next is the Pioneer deck that comes out in March.

The biggest issue is that I'm going to the Bahamas in May, so I'm trying to save money while also discovering ways to carefully spend it.

Pretty much just gonna collect cosmetic stuff and get them painted, then participate in autox as much as possible this summer. I plan on getting a set of STI wheels from japanparts:

Considering these tail lights with darker overlay:

Long-term, if I keep the WRX in 2014 and decide against the BRZ (strong possibility since I'm tired of switching cars, finally) I was thinking of building up an STI motor to have fun with and just let my stock motor chill. That would be fun, right?

Yes, I need a girlfriend so that I can't do ANYTHING with my car...

And no thank you, at least for the moment. I've got too much on my plate with family, friends, work and personal life. I'm barely even home. Wake up around 6, leave by 6:50, get home about 11ish normally, go straight to sleep. On the weekends I leave at about 9 and get home around 1AM.

No time, guy! Maybe next year, we'll see.

All depends on the girlfriend!

I'm really liking those wheels, Chano, not going to lie.
I really hope you just stick with this car. If you do the things you plan on doing it's going to be one killer car for sure.
But I will agree with you on this, if the 2014/2015 are Amazing in EVERY aspect as it should be with a purpose built car. Then I won't blame you for trading, cause I just might do the same

I'm not saying I'll get a girlfriend that WON'T let me do stuff to my car. It was a logical hypothetical. If I have a girlfriend, then I won't be able to spend most of my money on just my car. Besides, most women I've talked to LOVE my car, which is probably worse for me.

Anyways, enough about my loveless life.

I'ma do what I can to keep going strong with this car!
