Another tranny failure...I think?

Worm's tranny went out again. His first gear doesn't work but all the rest seem to function. Can you imagine your transmission failing twice in the first 2500 miles?

has he been racing it a lot or something?
maybe subaru put weaker parts as a replacement? didn't u say that the shifter was different when u put the kartboy in?

I smell lemon, how about you? That sucks man, clutch and transmission problems are really annoying, not to mention the downtime due to the car being in the shop all of the time.

I don't think he's been racing alot. I did see different parts installed in his car meaning other than WRX parts. Maybe Continental used a suitable substitute that wasn't appropriate for the WRX. Who know's?

I say lemon on that. I think the higher powers should intervene on the questionable parts but I think his rep on trannies might have SOA going against him.

Talked to Noi yesterday. He is still drving his car, but his 1st gear is shot. He said he is just going to order MRT gears. And not even deal with Suburu. Also he got hit again, right on the passenger rear door.
