You have a sedan obviously since your profile says you have an STI. I was talking about wagons being tight with 255s. Sedans can fit 275s without issue. I have lots of room up front since I did the sedan nose conversion, I'm out of room in back. I also have 9" wide wheels compared to your 8.5" which brings me closer to everything.

They could simply come out of the mold a little differently than the tires they were compared to, so they seem wider before being mounted on a set of wheels.
Oh, they were stacked 4 tall? Ghey. I thought that was a one to one comparison of each tire! I was trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

Ok, now it makes more sense. I was kinda confused about the width as mine were a little wide, but nowhere near that wide.

but fed's run about 1 size larger (i.e. 235's fit like 245's).

Another sharp response, sorta like your tire selection.

Sharp response? Not as sharp as the handling you enjoy with your re92's. Either contribute something of worth to the thread, or sit there and let it bleed, quietly.

Sorry, I drive on Star Specs, XS' as well as V710's, beyond the stock Dunlop Sport SP 01's, so I've got response covered. Maybe you should start earlier in the thread to start policing worthy posts..........

Is it possible that someone with a sub-100k number be a troll? Like some al qaeda wet dream, quietly inserted 6 years ago, and activated by a random mention of Federal tires?

A better reason is because you'd look out of place in anything but an 04 Forester, brahdette.

So, I ordered a set of these in 265/35/18 which came out to under 1k shipped to Canuckistan. Whether or not they actually arrive we shall see. My current Star Specs were a little disappointing, they got very slippery when pushed hard. I have about 50 autox runs on them with 20k street driving and they are pretty much done, measured them at 4/32 all around and I still have two events left in the season. All in all they were pretty good, but not spectacular.
