I'm trying to fabricate (or maybe find one of you guys who can?
) a snap on concealment cover/cap for my ATI Gauge Pod. Kind of as a minute deterrent against thieves.. Has any one ever done this before? Any tips? Questions? Comments?![]() Thanks guys!

to be totally honest.....it's a big, interesting shape sticking up out of the dash. If a thief were looking at it, they'd be at least curious. If it looks like gauges they may think it's just part of the dash, if it's all hiding and secretive looking it's probably going to be that much more interesting
and if they know enough to know that those gauges aren't part of the dash, then they probably know what it is in the first place, with or without the cover that said, if you really wanted to still, I suppose there's technically enough empty space underneath it to mount a thin plate that would lay flat under the gauges, then slide out of a slit cut in the flat section just in front of and below the gauges. First pull out to the front and then swing up and click in to a little latch under the 'hood' of the pod. Possibilities are there, but the idea is more than I can explain with words alone while this tired lol bet it rattles like a babies toy when the car is running though |

How about a bottomless large box of Kleenex? It looks like you just have allergy problems then.
