I was doing some searches on autotrader and that is definitely a hard car to find. I went from 100-200 miles. Didn't see many. I don't know what options you want on it but I definitely know you want a 5 speed. Good luck. Have you put your car in autotrader? Internet and the little paper ads they sell at gas stations?

I'll put it in autotrader if I can find that deal for $29 that puts it in the book and on the web.

I can't find that deal on the internet though.

Yeah I know how rare those Legacys are. If I can't find one I have another car in mind

Another rare car

323 GT-X

Found about the same # of those on autotrader as I did the legacys. But I want the legacy.

You're a bad bad man

Good luck with the swap. Does your L have a hood scoop? If not what are you going to do for fresh air to the intercooler? Just curious.

Thanks.

IIRC: These cars don't have a top mount air/air I/C. They either have no I/C or it is a water/air thing with a radiator up front. I know that Alan's L had the same swap with NO I/C. He's still trying to get the WRX TMIC to work...

BUt, then I could be wrong...

You are correct John.

I'm still debating on doing the swap on the L we currently have. Since its FWD.
I'm in the process of looking for a MT 93-95 L AWD.

Or should I just dump the motor into the RS?

If you find one, and if you haven't seen his site already, check out DLC's Legacy site for MUCHO info on it.

Check with SUV-ETR, he found a '91 Legacy Turbo here in Tampa a few weeks back for around $2500. Give him a PM and he can tell you where it is.

I have to say my mom is the coolest.

She said she'd front me another $2k to get the car. So I've emailed the seller and when I hear back I plan on bidding.

Wedge, you are da man!

Good to hear that. Now all you have to do is work on getting your car sold and making a screen new name.

Curses!

BTW...that Turbo at John Cook is very nice.

Saw it with my own eyes this weekend...Good thing I didn't have my car with me. The RS would be in trouble.

Well, the turbo legacy at John Cook was sold today .

And I'm not sure if I can afford this legacy that is in NY once I figure in shipping cost or one way flight cost. Both are going to add about $500 to the total.

Well, even with the $2k my mom was going to loan me I wouldn't have enough.

I have to pay for my tuition this month and I'm not going to be able to swing that without selling the car first.

I could try it and possibly end up in a bind, but my responsible side won't let me........screw you responsible side
