I have a bunch of 15" tires left over from my Honda days and I'd like to use them on the 18's that are currently on my wrx. I've been looking all over and no local stores are willing to loan one to me for anything less than $500. (I'm sure its because they just want me to buy tires from them instead of saving all that money by stretching out my old tires so they fit on the new wheels )

I'm sure I could stretch out all the tires in my garage in a day or two so I wouldn't need it for too long! I'd appreciate any leads or anyone who can loan/rent/lend me one!
I have a bead stretcher that I no longer use as I sold my racecar, trailer and all the spare parts and now am far more obsessed with Ernie Ball Musicman guitars than in any car stuff.

It's been used on about 25 tires but has been meticulously maintained. I'll take $300 cash for it but it's far too heavy to ship (as I'm sure you know) so you need to come to me to pick it up. I do have a 4 post lift, and if you have a pickup, I'd propose you drive under it with the stretcher on top and we'll just push it into the bed of the pickup. I don't take paypal or cash, so be sure you have your Amex blue card as that's all I accept.

Leftbraned.....yes, I did receive your pm....for some reason, your box isn't accepting incoming pm's, but yes, I can be home tonight for you to pick it up. I ran the Amex card and it went fine. I charged an extra $21 for the pizza and beer that you said I should have ready for us to partake in when you pick up the stretcher. Peppers and onions ok on the pizza?

This thread is full of win.

So was the tech at a bj's monroe that removed the mounted stock 16" wheels and tires from my foz and actually did try to fit them on the set of 17" wheels sitting in the car. Somehow while taking the first set out of the back end of the vehicle he entirely missed noticing the second set of 17" wheels with tires mounted he was reaching over that were what was requested he move the tires over from.

You need some way to port the nitrous from your tires to the intake. Go to Home Depot and get some adapters that will screw onto your valve stems. You'll probably want to just do this on the fronts - the rears are going to be heavily loaded as the car rears up and takes off like a rocket with the nitrous being injected from the tires. Anyway, get the adapters from Home Depot - it might take a few adapters to get the outlet that you want, which is a garden hose. Then run the garden hose to the inlet under the hood where the engine sucks in air.

Since the wheels are going to be rolling (duh!), you'll need quite a bit of hose. If I were you I'd put a garden hose reel in the back seat. You can get that and a few thousand feet of garden hose while you're at Home Depot.

Post pics once you've got it all set up!
