XT-7's are actually the most affordable Work wheel you can get. Go check out vendor classifieds, you can have the exact same set for not much more than the cost of rota's (though, not powdercoated like KatieO's).

They are awesome, and look great!

That's not accurate at all if you're buying them new. Not sure where in the vendor classifieds you found "the exact set" for not much more than rotas. You must be paying too much for rotas. READ it... you'll see that they're only listing generic 5x114.3 (mine are 5x100) pricing in a much narrower wheel with a higher offset...

15x6 in a 4x100 bolt are about $300/wheel. Never mind 18x9.5... Lol

I don't think what I said was inaccurate.

Just letting the dude know they really aren't THAT expensive to get into if he liked them .

The prices of everything from Japan has actually gone up quite a bit since 2008, keep that in mind. The exchange rate, cost of materials etc, has not helped. I wouldn't say 50% more isn't exactly in the same ballpark.

But I agree, they are pretty reasonable for a JDM wheel.

^This...

While they may be the most affordable of Works wheels. I still say good luck finding them new for near $900, the price of a new set of Rotas.
A group buy from over 3 years ago isn't the best example of what they cost now.
A friend just picked up a brand new set of 11r's for something like $1600, that were narrower, higher offset and the standard 5x114. And that was a good deal.

It was inacurate because you will not likely find a new set, in a custom ordered bolt pattern/size "for not much more than the cost of rota's"...

Geeze how many times are you going to edit the post....

I should've clarified .

18x10 rotas are in the $1000 range. I would consider $1500-$1700 "not much more".

Thats just me though . RavSpec was selling a(n) (essentially) brand new set with tires for $1600 a few months ago (granted, off their show car).
