Default Stage 2 install?

I just ordered some parts recently, but I don't have a place nor tools to do the job now...downfalls of condo living I guess.

Can somebody recommend a nearby shop (or any members) for the install?

I basically want to install my turboback exhaust, uppipe, new plugs, fuel pump/filter, and an oil change while I'm at it. What's a reasonable price for labour?

Also, I'm downtown. I searched and found Rocket Rally and Garage 5... rather old reviews, are those two still recommended?

your best bet is to find some local guys on the forums who will help you out in exchange for beer lol

Those are all pretty straight forward tasks (although the up pipe is usually a biznatch at the best of times )

just curious though. why the fuel pump swap ? what unit are you planning to install ( its not a typical stage 2 mod )

Got a good deal on a bunch of parts and he basically threw in the pump for free... also picked up a TMIC and AP2, but those should be easy to install in my little parking spot.

I'll probably upgrade the turbo in the very near future, but want to do my suspension mods next.

yup I second find some local members that can help you out otherwise I can only comment on Rocket Rally being a good shop and still recommended.

I have no experience with Garage 5 but others do so I'm sure they'll chime in as well with other suggestions.

Fuel pump you can change in your place it's like a 30 minute job and very easy with only hand tools.

Call Cam at Deckers in BBY. He will be installing my KB oil pickup soon for me. He should be able to help you out with these types of installs. pvesik recommended him/them to me. As for costs - most shops are $75+. I would think RR would be a much higher rate as they are scooby specialists and the place to go after you put everything together - ie. get a tune there. You really don't need them for your current installs as these are basic upgrades. You could however call them and they may be able to package something together for you - plus a tune.

Garage 5 is a great bunch of guys who have lots of experience with Boxer engines.

They did the UP and DP on my LGT years ago. They even did the resistor trick so it wouldn't throw a CEL.

In Burnaby, Alex and Curtis are great guys. They're building an 05 STi time attack car, they've never steered me wrong.

+1. the deckers guys are pretty cool, know their way around a suby motor.

having said that, thats all pretty easy stuff. any reputable shop will do a good job. make a couple calls and price it out.

Thanks for all of the responses... Seems Like the going rate for uppipe + TBE is $350 give or take. Almost have all the parts together, so hopefully next week...

Who are Alex and Curtis in Burnaby though?
