anybody have any info on out of province cars

so im looking to buy a wrx but its up in kelowna and i just found out its from sasaktchawen now before i take a 4 hr drive up there this saturday is there anything i should know about out of province cars ? heres the link to the car any info on it would help great because if i dont have to waiste a day driving that would be great

is this guy a member ?

The inspection shouldn't be much of a problem....just make sure its got a cat with that exhaust. The HIDs might not slide.

Disregard my previous comment....Sorry, missed the UTEC was there... thanks RS420. I think it was the fuzzy eyes last night.

My opinion is as long as the car's chassis is rust free, it's same anywhere in Canada.
I don't know much about tuning or mods so I can't say much about that.
Look for any corrosion on subframe joints and other moving components, also the chassis.
I lived in Ontario for few years and last time I was looking for a used car there, most were rusted underbody. Apparently even in Kelowna it snows much more than in Vancouver. You know what subiests do when it snows!

It says the ecu has been tuned with utec. It sounds like the guy knows what he is talking about but with the mods on there it would be wise to get a pre-purchase inspection with either a leak down test/compression test/cylinder balance test to make sure there are no under lying issues. It would have had a full inspection to import it to bc but it sounds like that was 3+ years ago?

so whats the deal with utec i dont know squat about mods or supporting mods is it like the power commander on my rocket ?
this is a new world for me and i dont wanna buy somthing thats gonna blow up on me 6 months down the road im gonna go look at FIDS car on saturday anybody got any info on that
