Here is a re-post of my experience with them after today...
oh dear god...well...i think 3 out of my 4 didn't fit correctly..only one "popped" on and my car idled fine with 1 mag and 3 stock wires...until i went to drive it and it started sputtering like a fool, and that was with the one "good" mag wire...i have tried crimping them slightly and they all seem to be on fine..until you start the car and it sounds like it's running on maybe 2 cylinders..then when you rev the engine and it wobbles a bit the whole thing just sputters(as if they're still loose! grrrr!!)and almost dies...after 3 hours of tedious crimping, gobs of dielectric grease, and black hands i give up...the car just doesn't run properly and im not satisfied...they sure look good but the rings seem to be about +/- 1mm too big...i put the stock wires back on and it started and ran just like it used too...any one wanna buy my magnawhore wires for $40 bucks and try to make them work?!?! P.S. i have ngk plugs...

Mine didn't fit at first after about 20 minutes fighting them, but when I lubed up the rubber boots and connector with Permatex Dielectric Tune-up Grease for ignition systems the boot "popped" in and I heard the connector "click"
Just put a new set of the Magnecor's with the Tec3 and I didn't even try to install them without the grease. "pop" "click" easy as pie. ![]() |
