Has anyone every thought about how sequential taillights would look on an 04/05 WRX? IMO it would look badass. Does anyone know if they make a kit for it? Or if theres a way to custom make one?

sqeuentials only look right when there are multiple-segments to illuminate.
Just becuase there are 2-3 bulbs in a housing... it will just look weird since there is no delineation or separation/partition between bulb housings... it will just look like a funky flashing light show... with rhythm.... lol Rob |

You have a 2004. If you have the stock taillamps then you have three bulb sockets in a row at the bottom. The middle socket has a third wire coming out of it that is not wired to anything. This is the highside (bright) filament and can be hooked up. Then you can have all three set to have the highside ready to illuminate and using a sequential flasher module.
You should search some Mustang forums and/or take a look at, for example, Steeda Autosports and Saleen Autosports. There is an electronic sequential flasher module for those cars so that they can effectively mimic a similar (mechanical) set-up that was found on earlier Cougars and Shelbys. EDIT: I'm in a great mood this evening. Here's a link: http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm Scroll down and you'll see a listing for a kit that you can splice into an existing harness. It's two modules, one for each side. You could convert your lower bulb positions to park, turn and brake and then convert the upper outer to your back-up lamps and the inner uppers to a set of rearward foglamps. Good luck on your quest.
