Thanks man. It's hard to mess up a photo at the Salt Flats, especially at sunrise. The car did real good with all the salt. I rinsed it off real good when I got home. I washed it better today and there was still salt up under the side skirts. The brakes don't get affected, they're running real close to the pads as you drive around. A non issue.

I did't run. I went to photograph and get stories for MyRideisMe.com and MotorMavens.com. The only time a street car can run is in the 130 and 150MPH club in Sept. You have to have all kinds of safety stuff (cage, fire suppression systems, full suit, etc). The class my suby would run in, the record is 218 MPH. That's the production class man, no aero mods allowed.

But, mods are full turboback (catted downpipe and one-off axle back (no muffler)), Cobb stage II, Goldline springs, KYB shocks/struts, STi interior, custom wood shiftknob)

Talk to JDMLegends.com about the straight pipe. That's who did the fab work. Top notch.

Give Eric a call. His standard rate is $80/hour for custom fab work.

Well, if I had aluminum parts I might be worried. The wheel wells are really only what gets salt in them. Unless you're doing some salt drifting, then I don't know. haha

It's really not that bad, just gotta wash it off. There are 500+ race cars/bikes and a few thousand cars that are driving around on the salt. I guess its the sacrifice for being at one of THE coolest car guy places on the planet.

Go rent a car then. But just get out there, you'll get hooked!
