Default 2.5" to 3" adapter

In looking for a way to run a 3" flat-flange Helix downpipe with the Greddy SE2.5" (neck) exahust, I stumbled across WBR's adapter.

In its out-of-the-box form, this is nothing but a $70 paper weight. The overall quality of the piece is very poor, at best. Sure, it's an exhaust adapter and no one will ever see it, but the thing simply does not fit on the car as it comes from WBR. The fun part was discovering that not only were the bolt holes off-center and poorly drilled in the piece, the stock spring bolts wouldn't even fit through the holes. But even if the holes were correctly-sized, the adapter adds enough thickness to make the stock bolts then too short to fit through the downpipe, this adapter, the gasket and the exhaust flange. Thirty minutes of Dremmeling and one trip to the hardware store later, this thing actually fit.

For $70 this thing should not look like it was drilled by a narcoleptic chimpanzee. If the stock bolts weren't going to fit, that should have been noted somewhere in the packaging or on their website and/or some appropriately sized bolts included. $70 for something this poorly made - that is essentially a piece of bar stock with three holes punched in it - is completely unreasonable

i don't think u need to use anything for it man.

just use the flat 3" gasket with it or add the OEM dp donut gasket with it then ur all set to go.

i use the same dp with the greddy SE and flat gasket with no problem at all

Mopac carries Vibrant too. Probably cheaper than Lordco.
