2005 STi Aspen White 46,000 miles
$16,000 Not interested in any trades at this point. Located- Manchester, MD I have decided to sell my STi after a long consideration. Other vehicles in the family failing and not wanting to make this car the daily driver for the wife is my reason for selling. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the car. All the mechanical parts are in perfect order. The only thing wrong with the car is the body has some "character" to it, which I will describe in detail below. Most of the miles I have put on it have been highway miles. I either used it for road trips or camping trips. I have had a lot of fun with it on the local back roads, but the big mileage comes from slabbing. I have not raced it, no 1/4 mile runs, or auto cross and definitely no street racing (I am 36 years old with 2 kids). I purchased the car in June of 2008, with 25k. The previous owner was in the Navy, and must have drove the car like a grandma. The car still had the original tires with half of the tread left. I have not done very many mods to the car. Mostly tried to help the drive ability. I did dynomat the trunk and doors. I have also installed a customer stereo. I have an amp and 10" sub mounted in the trunk, but it is mounted not to take up very much room. I installed a trailer hitch to tow my dirt bikes. I have only towed them once or twice. It does great job towing. This is everything that I have done to the vehicle: Cobb AP Tuner 2 w/ stage 1 map Intake silencer delete w/K&N filter Kartboy short Shifter TiC Pivot bushing Kartboy front stay bushings Kartboy rear stay bush Kartboy rear subframe outrigger bushings- comfort TiC rear diff Mount bushings TiC tranny crossmemeber bushings Primitive Racing front 3/16' skid plate Primitive Racing 1/8" rear diff skid plate Lathe Works shift knob, white Hayward and Scott 2.5 axle back- very nice and quiet Rally Armor mud flaps Windows tinted to 35% Transmission and rear diff are running Motul oil which was changed @ 30k I have run Amsoil since I purchased it. Changed every 5k 235/45/17 Goodyear Eagle GT tires. They have 20k on them, still a lot of life. Stoptech Posiquiet brake pads. Have 3k miles on them Subaru Factory Gold Warranty until April 2011- bumper to bumper w/ $100 deductible I have all the original parts that I have replaced. Stock STi axle back plastic skid plate intake and silencer Stereo: Pioneer AVIC-D1 naviagation w/ Ipod plug. Infinity Kappa series 6.5 front componet speakers Phoenix Gold ZX475Ti amp 10" Kicker - Sub and amp are mounted in custom flat box against the seat. The bad: The car was in an accident about a month after the original owner purchased it. The left rear quarter panel was replaced by the Subaru dealer in Virgina who did a not so great job. The car lines up fine, tracks straight and drives great. If you know what to look at, you can tell it was a crap job. The trunk bumps into the fender sometimes, mostly on dirt roads with big bumps. This causes some paint chipping that can be seen when the lid is open. There is also a small amount of over spray on the passenger seat, but you have to look for it to see it. The body also has some hail damage. Because it is white you have to look for it.As far as nicks and scratches, it is in very good condition. I try to keep up on the stone nicks with touch up paint. The wheels have some curb rash, but I have touch up paint for them also. The only mechanical problem I have had is a coil pack went out a couple months ago. It was replaced at a Subaru dealer under warranty. The car is in great condition. The transmission shifts great, motor is strong. Wheel bearings and ball joints are in good shape. The shop that rotates the tires every 5k does a check on the drive trane and suspensions. I am not interested in dropping the price. I feel that is a good price for the car and milage. I might discuss un-marring the COBB AP tuner and maybe removing some of the stereo components and renegotiating the price. I love stage 1. After dropping the map back to stock to take it in for service, there is a definite gain in overall performance. It really smooths the engine out and helps a top end a lot. The sub and amp box could be taken out, but it really sounds nice. It is built for clarity, not to rattle the trunk. Shoot me a PM, and I will get you my phone number if you want to discuss anything about the car. This was after a camping trip in Greenridge State Park. Here is the bike I have towed

for 16k for an ASPEN WHITE with 46k on the clock is a steal, these only come around once in a blue moon. You should NOT go any lower on the price and you should have a quick sale. GLWS man

Some more pics.
![]() If you look close, you can see a raggedy cut job on the replacement fender. You kind of see how the trunk does not line up properly. I forgot to add this. This is the front right fender. The plastic bumper cover has rubbed against the fender and chipped some of the paint off. I have sanded it down and been using touch up paint when ever needed. The last time I touched it up was last summer. It is Walmart paint for a Subaru, but it does not match completely. Here is a pic of the area where the trunk rubs against the fender. A couple people have asked about the hail damage. I can not get any pictures to show the damage. There are a bunch of marks on the hood and roof. |
