Default 08+ STi sun visors

quick question. i have an 08 impreza an my right visor wont stay up. Does anyone know if the sti or wrx visors are any better quality then the cheap vinyl covered ones? thanx

my wifes impreza has a piece of s*** visor too. goes up half way.

yeah the things are junk. they want 49$ for them at subarugenuineparts.com i dont really want to spend 50$ on crap like that

Weird. I've never had that problem before. As far as I know there aren't any visors that are better or worse. The 2002-04 are hands down the cheapest in the line up though. I am not 100% as I do not have a set of the 2008+ visors but on the previous years you could physically pull the "hinge" and reseat it. If you do this, take caution because there should be a substantial amount of grease on it when it comes out.

My driver side visor does not have any "spring" in it anymore to bring it up. The passenger side is fine.

If your car is still under the bumper to bumper warranty, let the dealer handle it. Sun visors generally are the same cheap stuff within a model range.

only difference between the impreza/wrx and sti visors are color.

maybe the legacy ones are nicer?

yeah i figured i would check to see if the dealership would fix it for free, but who knows the service manager didnt even know what kind of car it was because i debadged it

Has anyone fixed this?..Super late to the conversation haha but I just got an 09 a couple weeks ago and have noticed this as well..not sure what to do about it, would like to fix it somehow myself without having to go to a dealership. Thanks
