P.S. those summit fuel cells suck! they deteriorate rapidly, but for the price i didn't pass it up. i now regret it afterwards. i also removed the foam after a bit of use. it seems to hold the gas more than help with anti-slosh imo.

i know i already want to change out the momo wheel for a prodrive or something more functional...
i'll have to look into it more---i went with the plastic tank so i won't have to worry about the seams cracking and leaking like an aluminum one.

Did you ever solve the non starting/misfire issue? I asked if you had a matching ecu and motor because it's possible you have a motor with different trigger info than what the ecu is expecting(mismatching engine and ecu).

You are running a USDM Ej205 complete long block? With a USDM wrx ecu or what ecu do you have and what motor do you have?

You would need to look at the crank and cam trigger wheels.

thanks for the help!

update:

ecu says crank/cam sensors are not on the same page---the result was no spark---

i had an opportunity to spend some time on it last week, and found out the wrong crank gear were installed--- go figure that's what happens when you have someone else disassemble your new project.

got the timing covers back on and she fired on the first key turn!

now to replace the new oil from flooding the motor

WRB would make it too obvious that it has a subaru drivetrain.

But OBP, JBP or CGM would be a bit more subtle... Of course JBP with goldies would be pure F'n sex!
