Default NY: 2006 WRX tastefully modded

I'm not 100% sure that I'm going to sell my car but I figured I'd put it up and see what kind of feedback I get. I'd also consider partial trades for another daily driver, preferably awd. I'm saving up for a ring and a home so if I could trade for a daily driver and some cash, that would be ideal.

I bought the car new in Nov. '05 and it has been my daily driver ever since. It currently has about 110k (98% highway) miles on it and has had every maintenance service done including the costly 100k mile service. The car has never been to a race track, auto-x, etc. It's my daily driver that I need to get to and from work every day so I never pushed or abused it. The car is lightly modified and very reliable since I know exactly what has ever been done to the car and how it was driven.

I'm asking $14k and that comes with all stock and aftermarket parts which include both sets of wheels and tires, both sets of suspension, brand new spare set of HID's, stock tmic, stock turbo, etc.

I'm not in any rush or financial bind to sell the car. There's a stage 1 '06 WRX with 98k for sale on here for $15k so asking $15k for mine with similar mileage but with many stock and aftermarket parts seems fair if not a great deal.

Not interested in parting out the car so don't flood my PM box with requests. If I do decide to part the car out, I'll update the thread.

VIN: JF1GD79616G503187

The current mods are as follows:

Maintenance:
100k service (timing belt, tensioner, water pump, cam seals)
Oil changed ever 3k with Castrol 5w30 full sythentic (European Formula) and oem Subaru oil filters.

Brakes:
Hawk HPS pads
DBA 4000 slotted rotors
Stoptech steel brake lines
Motul brake fluid

Suspension:
Helix DNA coilovers for summer
Stock struts with Tein H-tech springs for winter
Front and rear Hotchkis Competition sway bars (25.6mm)
Front and rear Kartboy endlinks

Power & Drivetrain:
Exedy Stage 1 clutch
Exedy Stage 1 flywheel
Kartboy short shifter with Kartboy front bushings
VF39 turbo
STi top mount intercooler with Perrin y-pipe
Walbro fuel pump
Gimmick Motorsports turbo inlet
Agency Power short ram with K&N intake filter
Megan 3" downpipe
Borla XR-1 3" catback exhaust

Interior:
Sony headunit with aux and usb ports
Pioneer door speakers
Factory subwoofer
Innovate wideband and boost guage in Autometer dual cluster bezel

Exterior:
STi v-limited replica front lip
Hella Supertones painted black
6000k HID bulbs & balasts (hi and low beam, white not blue)
STi sideskirts
Chargespeed Bottomline sideskirts
Chargespeed Bottomline spats
Mines replica rear trunk lip
Rainguards
Rota Gforce wheels in gold 18x9 +35 offset with custom centercaps
BFGoodrich Gforce KDWII in 245/35/18
5Zigen lug nuts in graphite
Stock wheels with snow tires

I have almost every stock part from the car which I would also be including. I never added up all the money I invested in parts and upgrades but I probably don't want to know. Remember, this sale includes all stock and aftermarket parts, both sets of wheels and tires, both sets of suspension, extra set of HID's, etc.

The car was professionally tuned by STi Mikey from Phatbotti Tuning. The car was making over 300hp for about 80k miles and it still drives absolutely perfect. No grinds, rattles or any issues besides a small vaccum leak that I'm taking care of before the car is sold. With over 100k on it and being stage 2+ for over 80k miles is a great example of how I don't abuse my car. The car has been on a dyno twice (The Shop in Norwalk and EFI Logics in Bethel) and put down 260whp and 320wtq. The car has not been on a dyno since the VF39 was put on recently but should be putting down 300-315whp and around 350wtq which equates to around 400 hp to the crank.

I can tell you that the car was involved in 2 very minor accidents. One accident was a no-damage fender bender where all I had to do was get the front bumper buffed out. The second accident was from a deer running into my passenger side fender. The fender, front bumper and passenger headlight were professionally replaced and covered by insurance.

I decided to have the entire front end repainted this summer since Wicked Big Meet was coming up and I was getting my sideskirts, spats, and wing painted and installed and wanted to get rid of all the rock chips from commuting 100 miles per day for work. So, the entire front end is freshly painted about 2 weeks ago.

That's basically it. Feel free to email me if you're serious about the car. I'm not willing to part the car out. Don't email me asking where to buy parts like mine, where to get tuned, etc. This is a for sale ad, only reply if you're seriously considering purchasing this vehicle. I put a lot of time, money and effort into this car. I've taken it as far as I ever wanted and I couldn't be happier but it's time for me to move on to a more grown up car.

I live about 15 minutes from the Danbury Mall, Jefferson Valley Mall, and I work in White Plains.

The car is almost paid off so I could keep it and just save up. But part of me feels like I turned the car into something fun and nice looking, and I'm finally done. No more spending hours searching various sites for parts or researching different setups. The car is exactly how I want it to be and I did it all myself except for 100k service, clutch and flywheel, tuning, and paint work. I can finally say that I got it out of my system and can move onto a normal car. No more modding for me (that's what they all say lol).

But the other part of me feels like I just spent all of this money making it look great, handle great, the hours and hours of wrenching on it, weekends spent under the car while my girlfriend was mad for waiting around until I was done... why not enjoy it for a little while?

There aren't many pictures of my car looking like this. For years it remained stock except for stage 1 or 2 mods. But for some strange reason, my girlfriend wanted to go to Wicked Big Meet this year since neither of us have ever been to one. So, I decided to dump a TON of money into the car and WBM was my deadline to get it all done (or as much as possible). So I ordered the Bottomline kit, wheels, tires, rain guards, etc. and had it all painted and installed by THE MORNING OF Wicked Big Meet. I remember it raining on and off early that morning and I was under the car attaching the freshly painted spats for the final addition. My tires didn't arrive in time so all the pics take from WBM I was stretched on 225's.

I'm most likely going to do a legit photoshoot so that I can have some pics of the completed look before I sell it. But who knows, it may convince me to keep it. lol

So that's where I'm at now. I'm at a 50-50 split with wanting to keep it or wanting to sell it. If someone comes at me with the right price or a good trade... I'll take it.

Man, I really wish I had 15,000, currently trying to get rid of my car. If I do, I think I found my next car.

Bump for a clean looking ride!

Whoever buys my car will also get a free Tri-State tshirt and 2 decals (either NY or NJ). Just specify your shirt size and whether or not you want NY or NJ and what name you want across the back of the shirt.

Thanks for the bump!

I was just sitting here at my desk wondering how much I spent on parts and came up with a quick run down of some of the parts. They don't include labor, paint or maintenance work.

I'm still not sure I want to sell it since all of the work (guages, wheels, tires, Chargespeed kit, paint job, etc.) was done literally 2 months ago.

Anyway, KBB is a little over $12k for the car. So for about $2,500 extra you get the following...

$1,000 wheels

$800 tires

$300 gauges

$200 brake lines

$150 wing

$700 clutch and flywheel

$400 rotors

$150 lug nuts

$500 side skirts and spats

$100 rain gaurds

$450 turbo

$300 STi tmic

$100 Perrin y-pipe & coupler

$100 turbo inlet

$280 Agency Power intake

$200 tune

$1,300 Complete WRX Limited interior

=======

$6,930

...and then whatever other goodies I have on the car that I can't remember right now. Everything that I listed adds up to $6,930 and there's a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting but yea, you get the point. You're getting all of the aftermarket parts for less than half of what I paid. And I'd say 85%-90% of the stuff is only a couple of months old since I rushed to buy and install everything for Wicked Big Meet.

I've gotten a few offers but nothing solid yet. I may decide to keep it until the spring/summer so that I have something to drive through winter.

Yes, car is still available. As it says in the first post, $15k gets you everything which includes all stock parts.

If the car is still for sale I am certainly interested. Only one thing and that's that I am sure it's a typo but the VIN number doesn't seem to register as valid. Please let me know if it is still on the market.

The car is still available for sale as long as I don't change my mind and decide to keep it.

Thanks for the heads up about the typo in the VIN. I misplaced a D for an F. All fixed now.

Also, someone texted me today regarding the car but my phone is acting up and I'm not able to navigate my phone for very long without it shutting off. The text said you were from Philly. Send me a PM if it was you since I didn't get to read the text.

FYI, this is how the car looks in winter mode. Only difference is now it has rain guards.
