Default Mell0_yell0's 99' Outback

Hey everybody, last update was a very long time ago so I figure I change a few things here and there. I purchased the car from a one owner older lady who used it for her daily and going to and from the mountain for skiing. It is my daily now as well and also used for going snowboarding, biking, and traveling. This is my first subaru and definately not my last. It's got 131,xxx miles and counting. This car, without a question, will have either a wrx or sti full drive train swap once this motor or trans gets weak or fails.

I don't have a spectacular mod list but there's a few things.

MODS

Drivetrain:
Hybrid intake setup
Wrapped and Coated Borla UEL headers
Magnaflow muffler
Kartboy short shifter, knob, and bushings

Suspension:
BC Racing BR series coilovers

Interior/Exterior:
Subaru all weather floor mats (made for gen 4 legacy)
Subaru Badge of Ownership (100k plus, mechanical, performance, snow sports, and biking badges)
JDM projector headlights
JDM smoked tail lights
JDM sidemarker lights
LED interior dome light
Brushed aluminum instrument cluster overlay
Instrument cluster gauge lights changed to red
Painted interior trim pieces with duplicolor gunmetal metallic
Removed pin stripe
Removed outback logo from grill
Debadged Outback and AWD logo on the rear
Tinted windows 35% front two windows and 27% on all the rear windows (I think)
Hella Supertones
Yakima roof rack with snowboard attachments and bike tray attachments
Carbon fiber wrapped roof rack fairing
LGT hatch spoiler

Sound:
Sony Mex-bt5000 head unit

Wheels/Tires:
Neo Chrome open end lug nuts (brand unknown)
Rota MXR 18"x8.5" (summer)
Continental DW 235/40R18
04 STI bbs wheels (winter)
Michelin x-ice 225/50R17
ASA AR1 wheels 17"x7" (sold)
OHTSU Zexius XI427 tires 215/50R17

Past mods:
Painted fogs with yellow stained glass paint
Red and a blue bandana shift boot
Spt Muffler
Weapon R Short Ram Intake

That is all I can think of as of now. If I remember more I will post it up.

Very sexy. Just shows how you can take a mundane wagon into something really worth while.

Hey man,

Very nice car!! It looks really nice on the coilovers. I really like the silver gauge cluster panel you put in, I just might have to do something like that myself

Here is a picture of mine a 96 impreza outback 5 spd

Alright I snapped some photos of the whip on my way back from Ellensburg today. Took the scenic route through the Yakima River Canyon, awesome drive by the way during the fall season.

Heres the URL of the album on photobucket, ENJOY!
