Hi. You might have heard about my engine troubles from my spun bearing thread. I felt the info was too confusing there. I have PM'd the mods to delete it.
Well here are pictures of all the damage. The crank needs to be replaced, as well as one of the conrods. My main concern right now are the pistons and the walls. I have already rebored to 92.5mm from my first build, and am worried a hone wont be enough for the scorch marks, and I might have to go 93mm. Also there seems to be lots of carbon deposits on the piston tops. BAD FUEL ? (95 RON) or too rich a tune? Also note the engine was built by Subaru, and you can see the S#@T quality build. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Guys, besides a tune, and bolt-ons like exhaust, intake, fuel pump, I want to keep this car standard(turbo etc). It must be a fun daily driver. Wit that in mind do you think I should rebuild the motor or just replace with a low milage OEM motor? Im scared of the build, and feel a OEM motor will rev to the 8K mark smoother and better built then the built motor. Maybe just upgrade oil pump.

If you have the funds there is nothing wrong with a low mileage stocker
