Everytime I clean my car weekly / bi-weekly depending on weather, i seem to notice new minor dings / wrinkles (not deep enough to be called "dents" IMO) etc. on my doors. This amazes me, I never park near anyone, and when someone parks near me, i always check for damage. Also 90% of GD wrx/sti's have very similar wrinkes on theircars too.. bottom and top of doors usually. Anyway, there's no paint removed in any of these spots to indicate impact.. I'm assuming this is normal? i have seen this a lot.. Is it the lightweight materials used on these cars that causes this? Funny thing is im not sure what the cause is.. I've heard minor rock hits on my car but.. it's odd... my driver's side side skirt is whooped too, and i've never hit it w my foot entering or exiting my car.. Anybody else get this stuff

If the "folds" are anywhere other than the rear parts of your door then those are dents from people leaning on your car, balls hitting it, people opening doors into your door, etc. The wrinkles at the bottom of your door is actually clearcoat. Many car manufacturers put more clearcoat and paint on the lower section of cars because it takes the most abuse from rock chips, salt, etc. The other alternative car manufacturers are doing are putting strips of 3M film near doors and fenders.

No, I'm aware of the additional clearcoat on the bottom of the doors.. I seem to acquire small hairline dents only visible in the right light.. My car is mostly garaged, I park away from people @ work n school. People know better than to lean on my car, I dont drop thing on it lol, I suppose it's from debris getting tosssed up @ my car
