Default Head n block

Hi,
I am doing a hybrid setup but I was influenced by eq. Tuning to machine the 207 head to match the 255 block. Hoever, I bought the hybrid piston from je. Should I install them? Will it lower my compression further? Runing sti gasket. Is it a good idea to run hybrid je piston on machined head ? Thx

IIRC, JE stock size bumps the CR up a hair. STI stock CR i believe is 8.2:1. The JEs will bring it up to 8.27. With WRX heads and 1.5mm HG you should be in the stock WRX CR if not just a little over.
