Default 02 EJ205 to EJ207 ecm/ecu change

So, what is involved in doing this change over? Do you need to completely redo the wiring with the JDM wiring, or can you use the existing USDM wiring with a little modification?

I am asking because Im in the process of doing a motor and weighing the cost of an EJ207 and just using the block and heads, or doing the whole change over. Thanks in advance,

Shawn

Ej207 has AVCS ..

also ,the rom file btw them can't be interchanged .

if u have time to source out the difference in the wiring , then I think it could work .

at least , you need to figure out the AVCS first...

thanks.

you keep your wiring and add 8 wires of AVCS
IA performance sells the kit
might need to twist few things around

found quite a few good threads on the topic. Looks like fairly simple change over.

what he said!! it is a very simple wiring swap but can't remember the exact ins-outs

search it and you will find some OLD stuff on it.
