Default Need HeLp: Defi egt gauge erratically bounces

Ok so I have three defi gauges all powered from the radio power. Two of the gauges work fine but my egt gauge doesnt. It reads egt temps fine but for example when i turn on the head lights the needle will flicker for a split second kind of like I have a ground issue but why would this come up now after working fine for like 2 years? I HAVE pulled the motor and reinstalled it but the intake mani grounds are back on and the bolts are tight.

ANY IDEAS fellas. Thanks

You can always run power from the battery into your dash... there is a nice little rubber grommet just waiting to be used above the gas pedal. Also, not having other stuff on your radios power will make it sound cleaner. You can also ground out to one of the bolts going into the tranny casing since it's right there.

Could just be the guage going bad.

@ Enlefo... Why in the world would you power your gauges using the battery? He could tap a fuse from the block thats right under the dash

thanks fellas. I believe that vibrations were effecting it that or my battery being low on charge?? Idk but it seems to be better. And i didnt really consider the sound quality of stereo but good point but yeah the power from the stereo has been running them for quite some time. Seems to work fine.
