Thats an 8 hour drive going speed limit not mentioning pulling a trailer. I think leaving saturday morning is a little presumptious to make it back to work by 5.

^ it is, but its not really big enough to carry the extra sets of rims and tires and other parts etc... as far as i understand there are alot of extra parts, but hopefully will know exactly how many parts. maybe my dad and i will just cruise out there and pick it up if its not that many, but from my understanding i will probably need more room then his camaro has.

RJ's got good ideas. I've done the fly and and drive back (Lincoln, Nebraska to SLC) and it was fun. I wouldn't have wanted to drive both ways though.

if its just an extra set of wheels that the bulkiest just get a carrier rack for them and strap them down with tie downs and then fit the rest in the car if its just you you should have room unless he is giving you an entire other car.

if it doesnt have a receiver arranger with seller if he would be willing to get one put on before your trip out you cover the cost of course but it saves you time having to deal with it when you get there.

if it's got the receiver hitches get one of the small uhaul trailers and you should have enough room with that, and it should be able to tow that small of a trailer back.

what is it you're buying? a FXT?

if it's an FXT you should be able to fit all that in with the seats laid down... that's what i think. just take a tarp with you to keep the interior nice and clean.

Well, it can carry 4 spare tires, the light pods and all the smaller spare parts. If we work on it, the extra drive shaft too. The the extra transmission is not likely though. Dont worry man. We will get you on the road with as much as I can cram in there. Its a friendly drive of a car. Its not a rock hard "chripes my back!" kinda ride. Just bring some cd's to pass the time
