Talking Switching to the 2.2 this winter.

So after a summer of tinkering with the 1.8 and dealing with it's lack of power, I've decided to throw in the towel on the poor thing and find a 2.2.

I've heard that this swap is easy and I'll be looking for an EJ22 out of a, correct me if I am wrong, a 1997 Impreza. Please comment with any suggestions, warnings, or if you have an EJ22 with low mileage.

Thanks!

If you get a 97+ EJ22, you're gonna need a new exhaust manifold. Barring a few exceptions out there.
