Default Attention Retrofit Guru's!!

I recently picked up a cheap set of eBay bugeye projector headlights. I want to retrofit a decent HID projector into them, what size projector would fit in there? I realize I probly need to measure the diameter and post it, but I figured I'd ask anyway. Also, I was planning on using one of the Hella halogen high beams, unless someone has any better ideas... Thanks!

I'm planning on taking lots of pics during the process as well. Thanks.

First off, we're going to need ATLEAST a link to the headlights you purchased.

Secondly, glad to hear there are still some smart people out there who won't simply throw in an ebay HID kit and call it a day.

I personaly used Infinity FX35 BI-Xenon projectors (has both high and low beams in the same housing). If you go this route, make sure you get the clear lens version. If you want to get all your retrofit stuff in one spot, check out the 'the retrofit source .com'

Best of luck with your project.

Exactly the ones, they are those cheap chauncy halo projector ones haha. I took both lenses out of each one already, I didn't get a chance to measure tho. I'm only using the black plastic housing. I will likely put some thick vinyl over the whole face too. Someone suggested heating a clear sheet of plastic to mold it to the shape of the headlight, but that sounds like a pretty difficult DIY...

i think the best you will be able to do is find a set of hella projectors to fit inside. Your lights will turn out WAY better to just retro your oem lights. You will have plenty of room to use bi-xenons
