Not sure if right area to post, i was tuned for 93 octane and usually i fill up 93 octane from sunoco and no problemo car runs great. Unfortunately running low on gas and closest gas station was Hess filled up 93 car felt slightly sluggish. Installed "big 3" today while my negative terminal was unplugged i reset my ecu, my question is will my ecu adjust everything to this bad tank of gas? Should I reset again when I fill up sunoco so that way the ecu learns on a good tank of gas. Thank you

P.s "big 3" has no negative effect on performance right? I was concerned that with a grounding kit maybe it would of been that making my car feel sluggish

Wait... your car is tuned for 93, you put 93 in, and you think something is different?

Generally speaking, 93 is 93 is 93 is 93. Some brands use more detergent than others, but honestly there isn't a whole lot of difference between Sunoco 93 and Hess 93.

Also... pardon my ignorance, but what's a "big 3"??

It's upgraded wiring, like a ground from negative to alternator one to the chassis and the positive to the another part of the alternator

You should be a-ok, but you can get a bad fillup of gas from time to time.

I had a friend who did research on this kind of stuff, and would find higher water content in the underground reservoirs that hold the gasoline under the station during certain times of day, and stuff... Not sure what the specifics were however... Sorry!

In general, top-tier fuels is always a safe bet.

Recently, the list has been updated with Exxon-Mobil on the list as a major change.
Strangely Sunoco Canada is on the list but not US.

Thank you, yeah that's what I hope it is cuz it's really strange. The way I had it tuned made the car extremely responsive when you made the slightest touch on pedal which I liked. So it's odd that it's not doing it
