Story behind the purchase of my 2007 Legacy Spec B:

In March of 2007 my wife and I went to the local Subaru dealer because we were interested in buying a new Forester XT. After test driving it we weren’t so sure that’s what we really wanted. I noticed a STI nearby and asked if she wanted to sit in it to see what she thought thinking she would never go for buying an STI. So we sat in it and she mentioned that it was really nice and we should buy it, so I said yeah let’s! We test drove it and was going to buy it until the salesman said he had a Spec B on the lot. Well after just moving back from Japan I thought it was a Special Edition STI like the Spec C but he said no it’s a Legacy. Not knowing anything about the Legacy Spec B’s I said we will take a look at it. When I saw the color I was like damn that’s my favorite color then saw the inside with navigation and a 6 speed, we were sold. One week after buying it we went to Subiefest 2 in Portland, Oregon which is where I purchased my first mod a Perrin 25mm rear sway bar with Perrin end links. That day I also regretted buying the car when I saw a new black STI for sale at the event price of $25,000. It took me about a year to get over that but that’s when I started pouring on the mods and loving my Legacy more and more.

I bought this car about four years ago after my 1st turbo legacy started to get really rusty. My goal with it was simple, keep it clean, smooth with a touch of "jdm".
That all ended after I had a run in with a highway divider which bent the back end of the car.
So I ended up building it for autox and had a lot of fun doing so including winning the Canadian Nation FSP class one year.

In the mean time I bought an ae86 because i wanted to get into drifting, it was a blast and I really liked it. It wasn't too long till I wanted more power though.

So the Legacy got converted to RWD about 2 or 3 years ago and I've never looked back.
It's been featured on man big websites over the years including Hellaflush three times, SpeedHunters a few time and in two magazines:

http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010...isode-one.aspx
http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010...sh-x-pt-1.aspx
http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010...sh-x-pt-2.aspx
http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010...sh-x-pt-3.aspx

http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._1820277_n.jpg

http://fulllock.files.wordpress.com/...wwww.jpg?w=655

So that's the basic story of my car, I've toyed with the idea of getting 240 or something a little more "drift car" like but it always seems like I could never get rid of the Legacy.

Here's the mod list, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but this should be good enough for now.

8" jdm bubble Shift knob
Sparco Sprint 5 drivers seat
RCI platinum 6 point harness

okay so we're there!

I'll give everyone an extra day to flush out their entries and then we'll kick off the voting first thing Monday morning.

Don't be alarmed when I move all your entries to the first page.

We've got a great mix of cars and it's hard to predict who might come out on top. Outstanding !

A leaking Main Seal in my n/a engine gave me the motivation to turbo the Lego. About 80% finished should have pics up soon.
