Default ej207 build..HELP no oil pressure!

alright, so it has come time to build my motor. i have a v7 207 long block and recently i seized a ring-land im pretty pissed about it but hey what are you going to do, let it sit or rebuild? my plans for it, are not to go over bored with the build. this is still my daily driver! i will most likely be going to hit 460whp on pump, which i think i can easily hit with this turbo. so far i have been making around 430whp give or take. BELIEVE IT OR NOT i am still on my stock 5 speed with an act 6 puck clutch yes i cant believe it either but i think its a factory freak haha i sure have not babied it at all, thats for sure. i guess thats all i have to say... let the build begin!

parts that will be going in the new build-
grimmspeed phenolic mani 8mm spacers
wiseco pistons 92mm w/.020 over bore
gates oem water pump
clevite main bearings
clevite rod bearings
arp head studs
gates racing timing belt
ej25 11mm oil pump
full gasket set
gates racing alternator/power steering belt
oem headgaskets

my current setup on the engine-
holset hx40 .63 ar (v-band now)
rotated perrin down pipe
rotated perrin up pipe
tial 44mm ewg
850cc injectors
255 fuel pump
turboxs front mount (custom pipes)
aem ems
gm bc
custom ccv added to down pipe
blow thru maf
custom coolingmist alcohol/water kit (not hooked up yet)

thanks,
andrew

That's a big turbo--what are your goals for the engine? And why are you running a blow through MAF with an AEM EMS?

well ive hit 430 whp pretty easy with this setup now on stock trans. i dont wanna go crazy with this build like i said before. something around 430-460 is fine with me. it is my daily driver. i just wanna get it back on the road again because i miss it so damn much haha ive had better results with that setup so im gonna stick with it. is there a reason i shouldn't be?

Phenolic spacers: 8mm for FMIC, 3mm for TMIC (not enough space for everything to fit with the extra 0.5cm)

Like the holset

the cometic mls gaskets are not the greatest to me. the middle layer is to thick and doesnt like to bend to seal up. i liked the oem and the cosworth they worked fine for me and easier to get to seal. with the hp goals your going for i would go ahead and do the head studs. unless arp came out with a stronger material since cosworth did i would go with who ever has the stronger material. if your going aem you dont need a maf but you will need a map sensor. or to save some money you could go with a reflash or something i would find a tuner and see what they would prefer on you setup. i have a almost new set of custom wiseco pistons they only in there for about 500 miles no pits burs or marks of any kind no wear marks on the side skirt or anything. ill let them go for $200 pm me if your interested. and new oil pump are always i good idea on a new motor.

Engine bearings are one of the most vital components within an engine and are often overlooked when considering high performance upgrades.
Main bearing price is 110 USD
Rod Bearing is 83 USD

Its all returns to you.
Regards.
