why? The outback has the "H6" rear brakes that every wrx owner upgrades their rears to.

So the rear rotors will fit his stock setup on his outback If his takes off his dust cover. How about the parking brake that won't have a problem with it??

Thank you both for responding to my thread

What is it exactly that he's trying to do? Put wrx rear rotors on his car? They won't fit, the brackets that the calipers are bolted onto are different. The dust shield is what the bracket/caliper bolts onto so you can't take those off. You can bend them back a little they'll be fine.

He need 4 new rotors ans i found them for a wrx for 160 for all four and 200 for slotted. I thought that they would fit and save him a little money. I just wanted to make sure b4 he bought them. Thank for all your help with this.

Just go to autozone, they're like $25/piece. They're solid rotors anyway so it's not like there's going to be any difference in the vane quality that would affect cooling like on a vented rotor...

I put 2002 WRX rear rotors on my 1998 Legacy, but needed to upsize the brake caliper bracket to the 2004 Legacy. These rotors are 11.3" diameter. I also removed the brake dust shield, but it was falling off anyway.

If your friend has an 02 Outback, his rotors should be 11.3".
