Default Who's going to PFR 2010 ?

I'm toying with spectating at PFR in a couple of week's time.
Who else is planning on going and what's your plans?

Spectating - how about crewing?

I'm going up there in the Big Dog express (E450 Cube Van) hauling the Little Black Dog Racing Car - leaving on Thursday to go do Recce.

You should volunteer. I did last year, and had a blast. Probably going to go again this year as well.

^^^ oh boy that car was clean. After all those years rallying it doesn't look like that any more. It was about 3 months old when that picture was taken.

If anyone is coming up, I could use a crew member for Friday and Saturday. You get a place to sleep (Ramada) and I'll feed you rations. JC

PFR = awesomeness. If you're still in doubt, stop being in doubt and just go.

Definitely a deceptive corner. You think you've turned in too early and start to correct only to find that was a mistake. Best recovery ever was Janusz who dropped into the gulley and then drove out using part of the wooden steps as an aide.

Got to say, though, I prefer that corner going up than the other way around.

I'm heading up Friday after work...
Checked out the spectator guide but was curious from the experienced vets some of the best spots to be in for Saturday.

with my PGT car, from the bottom hairpin, I wouldn't even have to lift the throttle and just have a smooth line SO MUCH POWER! )

I was in at Helmer Lake for MtTrials, it was a fun spot to watch.. down the hill over the culvert and roar up the other side..

Anyone know if the same rules apply for access? (get there early and stay late/allowed to drive into the site?)

Basically changing wheels and tires. Getting the fuel ready, etc. I won't have many spares so we won't be doing many overhauls even if I do need them. At rocky, we barely changed a wheel.

I personally think that Active Mountain is the best spot for spectating. That's where the 2 pics above are from.
