Is it the right one for your car? Most of these aftermarket companies make one product to fit a range of years and models, and while it might be perfect for 1 car, it would require modification to fit another. Call Injen and see what they have to say. Don't be surprised if they tell you that you need some type of special extension that is going to cost $49.95.
BTW, that's not an air temperature gauge...that's your MAF sensor, and it's quite delicate. Be very careful with it. It doesn't take well to bumping, banging, dropping, dust, water...well...pretty much anything. If you mess it up, it's gonna cost you a couple of penny's for a new one.
