Question ebay projector lights

has anyone tried these with stock hid? says there are extra parts needed for hid's but i like my hid's but don't like my stock lights even though i already painted mine, just wondering what the ins and outs are. like can i use the light housing but mount my hid bulbs in them. i don't really like projector lights but like these housings and the halo rings.

There are a couple of threads about them and one vendor here that sells them. There was a group buy also a while back.

I just put these in my wife's car. The turn signal and running light wires were backwards, but just popped out the pins and flipped em. Also the ground for the high beams (black wire going to the inside light) needs to be clipped from the other ground and soldered or "T'd" into the white wire in the middle on both headlights or your blue high beam indicator will always be on and your fog light won't work.

Otherwise, they are pretty cool. I'd get the ones with the HID cause it looks like the low beams are not very bright. They do look cool though!
