This is great. I'm assuming that you still need to spray the parts with clear coat after hitting it with a few coats of color...no?

It took me 1 can to paint the scoop with a just a dab left over and yes I used clear. After the clear I wet sanded it to get out the peel and polished up with a few different products then wxed it, looks beautiful!

I would spray exactly what the can says for a distance though as the flake in the can is heavy so you want very even strokes with the can to not cause "pooling" of the flake.

Shipping to Cali would probably be in the $10-12 range with fedex.

This was matched to the WRB that was on the bug eyes. We've recently heard of differences over the years but still haven't confirmed exactly if or when the changes were made. Any insight would be appreciated!

We just got a ton of this back in stock! I know some of you are going to have to do some touch up work after this already brutal winter :/

I purchased this stuff last week. GrimmSpeed sent me tracking 20 minutes after ordering and was shipped out same day.

Paint color is a PERFECT match. I painted a black STI scoop with it.

For best results and OEM finish look:

1) Sand whatever you are painting (600 grit worked good)
2) Prime it
3) Sand primer with 1500 grit
4) 2 base coats of your grimmspeed WRblue paint
5) 2-3 coats of clear coat
6) Wet sand with 2000 grit
7) Use rubbing compound / polishing cloth to finish it.

Awesome, thanks so much for the write up and I'm glad it worked out so well for you! Any close ups?
