Default Is anyone a Nurse or know one?

I have had a terrible time finding a job since moving here. I am a more than qualified new grad from Xavier University with a good GPA and have been unable to find a job to reasons that i can not fathom. I have applied to 42 jobs since moving here, and at least 35 that i have been qualified for. My cover letter has included words from the mission statement and everything else which is a dream for HR reps.

PM me, my mom's a nurse, my sister and cousin are nurse's, my dad was the director for BYU-I's nursing department for 15 years and he knows a ton on people in the field. I'm sure I could talk to him and he would know where to point you.

It's a tough thing. Even though Salt Lake's unemployment numbers are low unemployment in the city is still at a 25 year high.

It took my fiancee 4 months to find full-time employment even with her degree... and the job she found isn't in her field at all. She spent hours on Craigslist and KSL every day and applied for hundreds of jobs... interviewed for 4 or 5 positions but never got a call back, and was even "hired" by a company, went through their first week of training, then was never scheduled for any shifts after that.

All I can say is be patient and it will work out eventually.

Good luck!
