Default It's that time again.......ski pass time!

Where are your guys favorite places to board?

i have only had a season pass to sundance (boo) and have been to Brighton for the freeloader x96 card Friday nights.
i'm looking to get a pass this year but haven't been around to many places. canyons and snowbird seem like good options.

i'm looking for somewhere where i can ride basic parks and jumps sometimes just for fun (never really done parks or pipe, just a couple times at Brighton) not interested in rails,
personally my favorite thing to do on any board is just carve, really lean over and dig in, high G turns etc... (think super-bike driver in a turn at the track)

If you like just riding, solitude is your place. Lots of vertical, that's my fav, if you are not riding back country.

so far my favorite place to board, (jump/couple boxes in the mix/just carve) is snowbird, they have it all and I'm not a park person either, they have some pretty steep slopes and some fun stuff to just ride. I have been to a few of the resorts and they are my fav so far.

Brighton has an alright park which you already know because youve been there. I personally like the atmosphere and terrain (fairly mellow, easy access to some nice powder) at Brighton.

The Canyons in in Park City which it a long drive for you. The Park is legit and really fun. They have everything from 65-75 foot jumps to 15 foot little jumps. As far as the terrain, I dont go there for powder days. I cant speak on this behalf.

I have been snowboarding for the majority of my life and I would like to think that I have a pretty good overview of what Utah has to offer.

I continue to by my pass to Brighton but always make it up to the canyons about 4 times a year

Park City's park kicked my ass last year. There kickers are huge, to big for me. I went there two years and brighton for 6 and I am going back to Brighton this year.

i think i'm supposed to verify, and you have to have proof when you pick the pass up. if you get caught trying to cheat the system, they will not refund any money.

and for the OP, i think canyons is a damn good time. but i'd probably have a snowbird pass if i could afford it.

My advice is.... go where most of your friends are going.

I like brighton simply for the atmosphere, there is no skiier/ boarder war like I have wittnessed at many other resorts. So brighton is my go to place

Got my pass to Brighton... Rode canyons last year and loved it!!!! So much terrain! As for powder days don't go to 99/90 on pow days. Gets tracked so fast!head back to the back bowl, called dreamscape or dreamcatcher something like that... Had freshies there all day long every pow day. Plus it ends on a pretty sweet cattrack with lots of side hits on your way back to tombstone. You can also do the other side of the mountain on pow days but it will require some hiking to get to the good stuff. But supercondor is good for getting your steeps fix and if you wanna ride a sick natural half pipe called canis lupis! I got a video of it I'll post after I get out of class.

I use to get passes to the canyons because my sister worked there. I don't think I would pay for a day or a pass. The snow coverage wasn't that good. Lots of rocks and trees sticking out of the snow.

Brighton is fun, but I still like solitude the best for low crounds and lots of untracked snow.

I have a Salomon and I think it's a 158 maybe, I can't remember the size right now, and I just got a brand new set a Burton bindings but I have no clue what model now since I got them for x-mas last year, but couldn't even try them out I am not a huge crazy boarder so the best of whatever doesn't really matter to me. haha
