Default Winter protection/washing.

I've read through some threads here and it seems like Collinite 845 is good protection from the New England winters. This is going to be my first car that I'm doing the detailing myself on and I don't want to mess anything up. Is the order of application something like wash/Collinite/Another form of wax? Or is the collinite enough on its own? Thanks in advance for any help. I'm a total detailing noob.

Thanks. I was just about to order this stuff from autodetailingsolutions. The collinite 845, Meguire's Gold Class car wash, some even coat applicators, and various microfiber wash mits/towels. That should be a good enough start right?

I would use the collonite or klasse for sure. Especially in New England. I am going to get the klasse for mine.
