Default New JE FSR pistons oil rings visible???

Hi everyone,

I am assembling a new engine after having my liners drop in my 1st engine and I have noticet that at BDC when fitting the gudgon pin that the oil control rings can be seen through the access hole in the block. I would not expect this to be normal and hoped thad someone else that has built one of these engines might be able to help.

Cheers,
Tony

My stroker was the same way. Chamfer the access holes so they don't grab a ring!

Thanks for super fast reply, lost some sleep last night over this. The ring doesn't grab as it goes over the hole it just looks weird. The top of the piston is close to flush with the deck at TDC which is good as I thought that the pistons may have been for a long rod.
Any one else seen this?
