I suspect that using these headers could mess with powertrain warranty claims? Anyone have any experience with that? Maybe it would be better for me to wait the remainder of the five years.

Just got my header today and got it installed, sounds great with just a straight pipe and a thrush style resonator. I pulled the borla mufflers they made it to quiet. Ill try to get a video up soon.

It should not void your warranty but if your worried about it just keep your stock one handy if you need to swap it back in.

What was the reason for removing the resonator? My stock midpipe has a slight rattle when its cold so I was considering a custom pipe with resonator to clear it up/make it slightly louder.

The resonator worked a lil too good. Quieted down my tone n lower end bass/rumble. Though the rasp was indeed cleared up 100% just wasn't loud enough for my liking.

Has anyone else had their MPG go up? I'm up almost 2 MPG on the first 3 tanks.

I didn't notice at the time but returning to stock header my gas mileage has gone down. Threw the po420 code and it also made my traction control light come on and my cruise control not work.

I went from stock to headers and Cat back, noticed much better gas mileage.

Never knew what my gas consumption was before, but I tested it out recently and got this:
(For everyone living in the U.S. this translates to 29 MPG after 62 miles of driving)
***all city driving***

Edit: if the picture isn't showing it's just of my odometer and average fuel consumption (100 km traveled, 8 liters/100 kilometres)

I know it's well over due, but only picked up photobucket today. Thought I'd post a pic of my setup.

Going on six months, loving every minute. Down to a temp of -5 degC/ 23 degF without a CEL.

Thanks man, shipped from the states. Dime a dozen down there and nobody wants them. They stand out here in Eastern Canada.

Nice. The Black Satin ceramic coating definitely gives it a stealth look.

On the other end of the spectrum is the Cerma Krome coating:
