No problem, that is exactly why I put it together. to help out anyone who wants it. whether it was small details like yourself, or someone who is just starting to look into purchasing the header and want to know what it entails

Got this on a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately due to two cracked rims and some unpainted recent bodywork I haven't wanted to make a vid.

Ok so... My header was cracked in two places and it likely robbed a lot of power. I've been driving it like that for a while. Buuuuut, with the new headers on power feels better than I remember it. Nice sound. I have a stromung axle back and I find the sound quality is much much better. Rumbles for sure. It didnt get any louder for me but my plan is to do a 2nd cat delete and add a bullet style resonator I think it'll sound amazing. I didn't get the coating but threw a layer of Vht flameproof on it.

Get it. Be patient. I wasn't either. I get it. Waiting sucks. Do it anyways.

Thanks mike.

I know it's hard to gauge but do we have an approximate wait time?

PS - I know alot of work goes into it, I'm fine with waiting and happy a solution like this was made. I just am impatient to get my rumbleez

I'm glad you are happy with your purchase.

The quoted wait times are really a good faith estimate and when things get pushed two months out, a lot of minor delays can add up to a major delay. That can result in a very upset customer, but as soon as they open up the box (and turn the key after installing their new UEL header), all is forgiven and I'm back to being loved again

Brian's header is on its way, so his frown will be turned upside down in a few days

It looks like another month before your header ships out. I was looking at the list and it turns out that four guys placed orders the day before you placed your order.
Orders seem to come in waves for some odd reason...

Out of curiosity, how many would you say you've made since the first order?

It's all good, thanks for the heads up! I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to show up on my doorstep while I was away this weekend, my area has seen increased thieving so I get a little paranoid about deliveries, especially one of this value!

Got my headers yesterday, and installed this morning. Here's a short video clip showing them under the car and a few revs:

Ill upload some in car driving soon. They sound _much_ better in person

EDIT: A slow outside view

4 inch replacement. You can hardly call them mufflers though, they are more like resonators lol

Have had these headers on since early August... still can't get over how excellent they sound. Here's a clip from the snow we got last week.

That's why I was wondering. From the video there was a quick glimpse that I thought, 4" muffler," and then I heard it...

If you would like a signature required for delivery, just let me know.

I just had a customer place an order for a custom one-off 2.5i EL performance header with metallic substrate cat. I'll be sure to get some pics and will most likely make them available for purchase after that. Unfortunately, I obviously won't be able to get any dyno results, as I don't think he would appreciate dropping $925 for a used header! It won't be completed for two months though, so all those looking forward to the pics will need to wait...

I know I may have griped about the long wait on these. BUT I got time to install them this weekend, it was the easiest install of just about any part I have done so far. My Subie has 67000 miles on it, took my time, used a little liquid wrench, all the bolts came off with little effort.

My Dad is an old hot rodder, he has built several engines from an empty block to completion, and he said its very rare to see an aftermarket part fit so exact!

Yes these are not cheap, but the time saved being so easy to install yourself and not taking to a garage, you would probably brake even and still have an inferior hodgepodge product doing it another way.

We where both very impressed, unbelievable workmanship!

I am going to make up a decal (Mike you need to include these or sell them!) for somewhere on my car, proud to advertise.

Sucking up, done just very happy.

I had a buyer lined up for this, but I haven't heard back from him, so I'm putting it up for grabs. This was a v1 that I had a customer return due to ceramic substrate cat rattling loose (I'm building him a new v2 header). It has been sand blasted and I replaced the defective cat with a brand new one, so essentially this is a new header. It is ready to ship as soon as payment is received.

What you see is what you get:

email me if interested.

OR, anyone on my prepaid list that has been waiting longer than expected (which is most) can have it
